Mermaid something or other..

I was real pissy about the cost of those Layla hologram effect polishes.. until I saw them in action. Holy poop.

The pictures make my hands look real red! They're not!

I layered the Layla (Mermaid something or other) over Kleancolor's pastel teal. The formula is kind of shitty, but oh well. It was worth it for these results. Everyone complimented them, and I couldn't stop staring.

I was all "Nah bro, fifteen bucks? EFF THAT!" Then I went back and bought two more.

I also picked up some MASH stamping plates and made a BornPretty order. Whee, nails.

Mango Sprinkles

I am just not liking what I'm doing to my nails lately. I bought all those dang glitters before I remembered, "Hey! I don't actually like how glitters look on me.." C'est la vie.

I mean, I suppose it wasn't horrible.. Maybe I'm just not partial to orange! Anywho, here's another shot.

The glitter's formula was lacking; gooey and hard to place. It made my nails feel thick and tacky even after a quick-dry top coat and hours of dry time.

I like the next manicure I have lined up for y'all MUCH better. :)

Ugly Ass Neon Crackle

Man, I am addicted to this neon yellow. Every time I go to paint my nails with something different I just end up using yellow instead. :( What is the matter with me?!

I went to Ulta for the first time in a while and treated myself to some overly expensive polish -- OPI Super Bass Shatter, and two of those fancy shmancy Layla holos. This is the shatter over Orly "Glowstick".

I even broke out my good camera and the watermark! Perhaps I am getting back into the swing of things after all.
